چکیده

Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) is one of the most important self-configuring and independent wireless network. Numerous intermediate nodes are used among MANET to interchange information without requirement any centralized infrastructure. But some act selfishly utilize resources only for their own purposes do not share with neighbors. This selfish might delay or drop packet perform routing. Though watchdog a well-known node detection technique, it causes false negatives positives that can affect performance in terms precision speed. To eliminate drawbacks existing approaches detection, this paper integrates both On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) protocol incorporated chimp optimization algorithm Collaborative Contact based Watchdog propose novel technique called Chimp-CoCoWa-AODV order improve MANET. The main role AODV undergo optimal route selection process. proposed approach compared average routing load, Average Packet Delivery Fraction (PDF), End-to-end Delay (EED), Throughput, Total application layer, maliciously dropped layer. simulation results shows effective 82% PDF 7.4 ms EED at 50 isolation even presence malicious node.

A Survey on Efficient Detection of Selfish Nodes in MANET using A Collaborative Watchdog

Misbehavior of Nodes is basically due to selfish or faulty nodes or malicious reasons can degrade the performance of Mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETs). To handle with misbehaviour in such self-organised networks, nodes need to adapt their strategy to changing levels of cooperation. This cooperation is a cost-intensive activity and some nodes can refuse to cooperate, leading to a selfish node beha...

Detection and prevention of Routing Attacks in MANET using AODV

Absence of infrastructure and dynamic nature of MANET invites intruder to launch attack, one of them is flooding. On demand routing such as AODV is more popular then proactive routing use flooding to discover route. Attackers used this concept to launch DoS attack like flooding; black hole and gray hole are the known attack in MANET. In this paper we have proposed a new method based on AODV beh...
